Terms of Service
1. What this covers
These terms govern use of Pulse, an internal content, research and opportunity tool operated by BlindspotLab. Pulse is private software for a named operator. It is not offered to the public, sold, licensed, or available for sign-up.
By signing in to Pulse you confirm you are an authorised operator and agree to these terms.
2. Access
Access requires a Google account whose email address appears on the server-side allowlist. There is no registration path. BlindspotLab may add or remove addresses from that allowlist at any time, without notice, and removal takes effect on the next request.
You may not share your session, attempt to reach the dashboard with an account that is not allowlisted, or attempt to bypass the authentication, scheduled-job or webhook secrets.
3. No service commitment
Pulse is provided as-is for internal use. There is no uptime commitment, no support obligation, no service level agreement and no warranty of any kind, express or implied. BlindspotLab may change, suspend or discontinue any part of it at any time.
Pulse depends on third-party services including Cloudflare, NVIDIA, OpenRouter, Notion, Telegram, GitHub and optional search providers. When one of those is unavailable, the feature that relies on it is unavailable too.
4. AI-generated content
Pulse drafts content using large language models. Those models can be wrong, can misread a source, and can produce text that reads confidently while being inaccurate.
Pulse is built on the assumption that this will happen. Every draft is held for human review, and nothing Pulse writes is published automatically to any platform. The product contains no publishing client at all.
The operator is responsible for everything they choose to publish. Approving a draft in Pulse means the operator has read it and cleared it to post themselves. It is not a statement by BlindspotLab that the content is accurate.
5. Opportunity information
Pulse gathers information about grants, hackathons, jobs, programmes and similar opportunities from public sources, and checks the important details against each opportunity's official page before marking it suitable to share.
That check reduces error; it does not eliminate it. Deadlines, eligibility and prize terms change. Anyone acting on an opportunity surfaced by Pulse should confirm the details on the official source, which Pulse always records and links.
Where Pulse cannot establish a detail, it records that the detail is not stated rather than guessing. An opportunity whose eligibility is shown as "not stated" has not been confirmed either way.
6. Content ownership
Material the operator supplies to Pulse, and the drafts Pulse produces from it, belong to the operator and to BlindspotLab as applicable. BlindspotLab claims no rights over an operator's own notes, builds or writing beyond what is needed to run the tool.
Third-party material Pulse retrieves while researching, such as an article it cites, remains the property of its author. Pulse records the source URL and retrieval time for every factual claim, and does not reproduce substantial portions of a source.
7. Confidentiality
Pulse is designed around the assumption that some of the material it can see must never be published. In particular:
- Private repositories are usable as signals but are never drafted from without explicit operator approval.
- Material identified as client-related cannot produce public content at all. There is no automatic approval path for it.
- Drafts are scanned for credentials, contract amounts, revenue figures and private communications before they can reach the review queue.
These are enforced in the software. They do not relieve the operator of their own confidentiality obligations to clients and partners.
8. Acceptable use
You may not use Pulse to:
- Publish content you know to be false or misleading.
- Disclose a client's confidential information without their permission.
- Impersonate another person or organisation.
- Harvest personal data, or compile profiles of private individuals.
- Breach the terms of any third-party service Pulse connects to.
9. Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, BlindspotLab is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss arising from use of Pulse, including lost revenue, lost opportunities, reputational harm, or any consequence of content the operator chose to publish.
Pulse is an internal tool used at the operator's own risk and judgment.
10. Changes
These terms may be updated. The date at the top of this page reflects the current version, and previous versions remain in the project's version history. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance of it.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, where BlindspotLab operates.
